After a long time I've no passion to read and writing something today, at campus I decided to writing something on this blog. Well, I want talk about friendship. I don't know why I choose that topic, I have no special reason for it. So, I just want to write it on this blog. 😆
I got the inspiration when I read a short story about friendship. In my opinion, the story was good and can make us realize something in our friendship. Something that can make us think like "not everyone around us is a real friend. True friends take care of us."
Let me tell you the summary of the short story.
There is a boy who live with his grandfather. The name of the boy is Mario. Mario has a lot of friends in his school. He is so happy by that, but one day his grandpa come to him and bet Mario a big bag of popcorn that Mario does not has as many friends as Mario think. His grandpa sure that many of them are nothing more than companions, acquaintances, or partners in crime. Mario accepted the bet without thinking anymore. Then he thinks how to know if his friends are real friend or not, he doesn’t know the way to test his friends. He is confused and start asking his grandpa. His grandpa left and then come back and seems carrying something in his hand, but Mario could see nothing there. It was an invisible magic chair. His grandpa said that Mario need to bring that chair to school so he can test his friends. It was an invisible chair so it’s rather tricky to sit in there but if Mario takes the chair to the school and manage to sit there it will active the magic and Mario will know who he real friends are.
In the next day, Mario brings the invisible magic chair
to his school. At breaktime, Mario
gather his friend then they make a circle while Mario in the middle with his
invisible magic chair. Mario try to sit in that chair but because he could not
see the chair he fell down and his classmate start to laugh. Then Mario try
again but he keeps falling down and his classmate give him surprised look and
some cat calls. Mario never give up until he success to sit down in his
invisible magic chair. He floats in the air and feel the magic that his grandpa
had been talking about. Mario curious then he looked around and find out that
his friends, Lucas, Diana, and George are holding him so he will not fell down
anymore and the other friends that Mario had thought as his friends had do
nothing only laugh and make fun of him. Mario then learn something and knows
who are his real friends (Lucas, Diana, and George). The true friends are those
who care for us, always there for us not easy come easy go like they just come
in our happiness but not in our sadness, and last but not least they never take
joy in our misfortunes.
The story taught us about real friendship but in simple way and understandable. I hope anyone that read this post will get the point that I want to delivered.
How about my self???
I’m a very happy person right now, I have people that I can
proudly call as my best friends, and in my language, you call it “Sahabat” they are more than just
friends, much much more than that. They are your people, people that only one
phone call away. You can cry all you want for the silliest reason and they will
cry and laugh for you. With you. I have those kind people in my life
now. We even going on trip together. Just us. They are not related by blood with me, so they don’t have to, they are
there for me on their own will. 💕💋
